Rolf Buch (Chief Executive Officer)
Rolf Buch serves as CEO of Deutsche Annington since 1 April 2013.
Prior to that, Rolf Buch acted as management board member of Bertelsmann SE and as CEO of Arvato AG. During his time at Arvato, the company has grown into a global BPO service provider with more than 60,000 employees in over 40 countries and has developed into the fastest growing business division of Bertelsmann SE.
After Rolf Buch had studied Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration, he started his career at Bertelsmann in 1991.
Rolf Buch is married and has two children.
Klaus Freiberg (Member of the Management Board)
Klaus Freiberg has been a member of the Deutsche Annington Management Board since February 1st 2010 and is responsible for the property management (customer care service, management and letting of portfolio).
In his various functions with Arvato Group (Bertelsmann) from 1995 until 2010 Freiberg supervised and optimized the service centres of Deutsche Post and Deutsche Telekom. His last position with Arvato Group was CEO. Freiberg is an expert in pronounced customer orientation.
Freiberg completed his degree in history, social sciences and economics at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University of Münster (Westfalen) in 1990.
He is married with one child.
Dr. A. Stefan Kirsten (Member of the Management Board)
Dr. A. Stefan Kirsten has been a member of the Deutsche Annington Management Board since January 1st 2011. He is appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
In his last position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with Majid Al Futtaiim Group LLC, a real estate development company focusing mainly on property, retail and ventures in the Emirates, and second of last Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with Metro AG and ThyssenKrupp AG in Germany. His professional career goes with his excellent reputation in the international financial market place as well as financial accounting and controlling.
Dr. Kirsten took his master degree in business economics and informatics from 1981 to 1986 at the FernUniversität Hagen and Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
In 1991 he has taken his Dr. rer. pol. Degree followed by the Stanford Executive Program with the Graduate School of Business of Stanford University in California. Since 1995 he has been teaching at different universities in Germany and abroad. Dr. Kirsten has been appointed to a professorship with the University of Applied Sciences in Gelsenkirchen since 2001.
Dr. Kirsten is married with one daughter. His hobbies include historic literature as well as sports such as running and golfing.
